In today’s digital age, managing and paying medical bills can be a daunting task. MyChart offers secure and convenient access to manage your healthcare payments online. From your MyChart account, you can pay your bill, set up payment plans, or apply for financial assistance. We will explain how to pay bills both within your MyChart account, and using MyChart Pay as Guest.

Pay Your Bill with MyChart Guest Pay

Once you have reviewed your bills and are ready to make an online payment, MyChart Guest Pay offers a straightforward process. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can still pay bills using the Pay As Guest feature. Here’s a step-by-step guide to making payments:

  1. Go to your healthcare provider’s MyChart patient portal
  2. Click the Pay as Guest button
  3. Enter your Guarantor account number and Guarantor last name, and press look up. Your Account number can be found on your billing statement.
  4. Enter the amount you’d like to pay, and click “next”
  5. Specify your payment method, fill in the required details, and press “Submit”

After MyChart process payments, you will receive a confirmation and an updated summary of your outstanding balances. MyChart Pay as Guest makes it easy to keep track of your payments, ensuring you stay on top of your financial obligations.

Pay a Bill from within your MyChart Account

Once logged into your MyChart account, simply click on the Billing tab at the top of the screen to get started. Credit card payments can be made directly and securely through MyChart to any of your hospital or physician office accounts. You can pay bills by following these steps:

  1. Log into your MyChart account
  2. In Your Menu, select ‘Billing Summary’
  3. Click “Pay Now”
  4. Specify your method of payment and fill in the required fields. Press “submit”
  5. You will see a confirmation screen to notify you your payment was made successfully

Setup a Payment Plan

Billing statements will be sent to patients if they have an outstanding balance. The balance can also be seen within the payment history of your MyChart account. You can set up monthly automatic payments to pay your outstanding balance if needed. Payment plans must be a minimum of $100 per month and must be completed within 6 months.

Follow these steps to set up a payment plan:

  1. Log into your MyChart account
  2. In Your Menu, select the ‘Billing Summary’
  3. Click “Set up a payment plan”
  4. Complete the required fields to set up the payment plan. Click “Select payment method”
  5. Complete the required credit card fields and press “Submit” to finish setting up your payment plan

You can make changes to your payment plan by clicking “Manage payment plan” on the Billing
Summary page.

New! Look up your account – Make a single payment across multiple Guarantors

Beginning on June 2nd, 2023, there is a new billing feature available in MyChart that allows patients to pay toward all eligible guarantor accounts at one time.

  • When a patient has multiple guarantor accounts, opening the MyChart Bill Pay screen will show all guarantor accounts, with a non-zero balance, on the same screen.
  • This feature allows you to pay balances all in one place.

If you have any questions regarding payment of your premiums via MyChart or Guest Pay, contact Member Services. Alternatively, you can send a message from within your MyChart account by clicking “Contact Customer Service” anywhere you see it on the Billing Summary page.

If paperless isn’t your thing, go to the settings section in MyChart, and you’ll find an option for billing preferences. Here, you can toggle between electronic and paper billing.
