I have an account for my father based on the fact that I am his DPOA. He suffers from progressive MS and dementia. His health care providers have repeatedly ignored my requests to be his proxy and consistently revoked my access to the account. His health is suffering because of it. The DPOA is on file in multiple departments at the hospital. It clearly lists my right to access all of my father’s information without restrictions.
It is illegal to prevent me from helping my dad and shame on that.
I’m having trouble logging in to my account and it’s imperative I get my medical records.
